The Windows are Going in

Another stage has been reached in bringing the cottage alive - the windows are being installed.


Even the small diamond windows will have glass that can be opened.


Our only regret is that the struts are not as fine as those of the old windows to the house and so the proportions are chunky rather than elegant. But the old windows are single panes (and draughty) whereas these are double glazed and will keep the cottage cosy.
